Deposits

In the case of a direct booking, we ask for a deposit of approx. 20% of the hotel price. You will receive detailed information about the amount, deadlines etc. directly with your reservation confirmation. 

Cancellation conditions

In general we follow the GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR OF THE
AUSTRIAN HOTEL INDUSTRY (AGB-H 2006), that can be seen under https://www.oehv.at/fileadmin/user_upload/MediaLibrary/Downloads/Rechtsinfos/AGBHs_Englisch.pdf .  However, we have adjusted our cancellation policy and - with a direct booking -  we will ensure you a free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. After that, 90% cancellation fee applies of the arrangement booked, for B2B customers the contractually agreed conditions apply. For organizational reasons, cancellations and rebookings must be made in writing. Unfortunately, we cannot offer uninsured, short-term free cancellations, as we also rely on a certain degree of planning security.

Late arrival & early departure

If you arrive late or have to depart earlier, the 90% cancellation fee also applies. Of course, our reception and reservations team endeavors to resell unused nights in order to keep the damage as low as possible and, ideally, to avoid any cancellation costs (even in the case of total cancellation). 

 
Travel insurance

In any case, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation and travel interruption insurance. You can find more information about such insurance on the website of our partner >> European travel insurance, which also covers extensive CoV insurance, illness of an "individual traveler" etc. at no extra charge. ​ Your holiday may also be insured through membership in a motorists' club or through your credit card. Experience has shown that the respective customer hotlines will immediately provide you with meaningful information about your travel insurance status.

Covid regulations

As of January 2023, there are no separate corona regulations such as required entry tests, compulsory masks in the hotel, etc. By booking, the Covid-19 regulations and access regulations valid at the time of travel are deemed to have been accepted. A legal change in the access regulations does not justify free cancellation.

In the event of travel warnings for Carinthia, border closures, a new lockdown or entry ban for the hotel industry, you can of course easily rebook your holiday to a later date. The deposit paid will be credited to the rebooking in an uncomplicated manner.
